Yay for me! I picked something that was not a coloring book this time.
So, I started hearing about this new “adult” coloring book fad around Christmas last year. I loved coloring as a kid and I would like to consider myself an artist since I dabble with different mediums and took an art class for one whole college semester. That makes me eligible for the title, right?
I jumped on that “adult” coloring book bandwagon real fast, I have two already and when I seen this up for grabs, I didn’t waste no time. Besides, this would give me something different to babble about other than recipes. This is inspired, if you haven’t already guessed, Alice in Wonderland.
First off, I was impressed by the quality of this coloring book. The other coloring books I have are pretty popular and this is much better put together. The cover is quite nice and the paper is crisp, clean and thick. I am able to use my pens without the ink smudging or bleeding through to the next page. I love that! The book is full of whimsical drawings of butterflies, tea parties, mystical treats, and plenty of magical creatures. It was like this coloring book was designed for me! Not only does it have basic pages to fill in, but there are hidden games through-out, making this even more entertaining to delve into.
I am very much enjoying this coloring book and so far this may just be my favorite. If you are already on the “adult” coloring book bandwagon as I am, check out this book. If you are not, this is a great one to start out with.
